Why do you keep refining essentially the same laundry list in different places? And, BTW, KDE had Ctrl-Tab probably since 1.0. It's pretty much unlikely that we will ever change it Probably WONTFIX. Can you file the same bug report to Firefox and have them change their shortcuts instead, since we won't change ours? Last I tried, Firefox walked through tabs with Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDown as well. Thanks for your prompt responses. I have filed the bug report with Firefox at: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286892 The Mozilla Firefox team said that they had received many complaints when they tried to limit tab switching with only Ctrl+PageUp and Ctrl+PageDown. It looks like users will just have to figure out that Ctrl+Tab switches desktops in KDE, which might have the side-benefit of teaching people that they actually have multiple desktops :) |
