Description Amit Shah 2005-02-28 10:52:14 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-2.95.3 self-compiled on RedHat 9
OS: Linux

In my setting, I hide the menubar, tab bar and the scrollbar, set translucency and remove the window decorations. On disabling the 'show frame' in 'configure konsole', I still get the frame. The frame does not get hidden.

My patch for 99884 borked this. I reverted that patch so this is fixed. --noframe is still broke.
Comment 2 Arne Schmitz 2006-11-07 10:22:27 UTC
Even if the frame is disabled, there still remains a frame around the konsole window,u sing KDE 3.5.5 here. I don't know if this is from the tabbing or whatever, but it would be nice to get a "perfect fullscreen" without any frames or borders.
Comment 3 Robert Knight 2006-11-07 12:52:55 UTC
Yes, that frame is from the tab widget. There is actually another open bug report about this so I will leave this one closed.
Comment 4 Amit Shah 2006-11-07 12:57:14 UTC
Can you mention the bug that is similar? Perhaps we could mark this as a dup of that one (or the other way round).
Comment 5 Robert Knight 2007-02-01 19:52:40 UTC
The particular bug mentioned in this report is fixed, but there are other issues with the frame which are documented in other reports.
