Description Brad Hards 2004-12-05 05:01:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Franz asked for a dialog emulation mode for kdialog, to make it easier to do integration. That looks reasonable.

The emulation mode will be entered if a special environmental variable is set, or if you pass an --dialog-compat (or whatever) argument on the command line.

Fabian Franz?
Comment 2 Brad Hards 2004-12-11 08:03:32 UTC
Yes, Fabian Franz. Not sure what happened to the rest of my cut-n-paste.

The kde-3.4 features page has a link to bug 99435, not 94435.

Based on discussion with Chris Smart, we need to support --infobox, for an update-able display.

Patch for --infobox and square passivepopup

This is a quick hack provided to Chris Smart for Kororaa. It has some
gratuitous whitespace changes, and isn't really suitable for KDE3.

kdialog misses a lot of options of xdialog/dialog. Currently this is a big problem for me because I want port a xdialog script to KDE.
