There is an option in konqueror -> settings -> configure konqueror -> previsualization & meta data -> increase size of previews relative to icons.
This option doesn't work anymore in the desktop, the previews are the same size of the icons. This works fine in konqueror. It started happening in kde-3.3, before this relase the option worked in the desktop also and was very usefull.
I've reported this bug as a kdesktop bug (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86445) but they say they don't know who programed that feature. It would be nice to have it again in the desktop. If this isn't the right place for the bug please point me on the right direction.

I have to check why, but the configuration option for the desktop is not  available (anymore?), so this has since also been removed from the code.

Still, the original bug #86445 is open, so I close this one.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
