Description Ben Burton 2003-11-01 09:37:13 UTC
Version: 1.2.94 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
OS: Linux

Received through the Debian BTS (#199144).

The request below is essentially asking to remove the Update button in the text import -> ranges panel, and instead perform the update every time the ranges change.

I realise this might be undesirable since would involve continually refreshing the import preview. Perhaps performing the automatic update when the focus leaves a range widget? At the very least it would be nice to use the entered range when OK is pressed - at the moment if you change the range and press OK (without pressing update) then the new range is silently ignored.

The original debian bug report is as follows:

When I import a text file into kspread and choose only to import columns
6--10, kspread imports columns 1--10.

Oh, I just saw the "Update" button at the right of the ranges. I think
kspread should do the "Update" action every time one of the ranges
changes.

Thanks!
