Description Ben Burton 2003-10-15 01:50:20 UTC
Version: 1.2.93 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Received through the Debian BTS (#192045).

Start up karbon, select Help / Karbon 14 Handbook, khelpcenter comes up, but no help on Karbon.

Thanks. :)

I am willing to start documentation on this ticket. This is a large application and could probable do with more than one author working on it. So anyone else interested in collaboration is welcome.

I am documenting on Kubuntu (Dapper) with Karbon14 1.5.0

In discussion with developer (jaham) we've decided that it is better to document Karbon 2.0 and commit to trunk. Doing document for a 1.6 branch would see us just completing one document and already having to update it. We we decided to aim for 2.0.

There currently is a stub document for Karbon in trunk right now. Due to the freeze, unfortunately it will not be fixed prior to the 4.3 release.

Sean, were you still interested in working on this document? If not, I will assign this report to me and start working on it here shortly.

Wonderful news. Please be aware that we have a completely independent release schedule from KDE. We are in freeze too at the moment. That means that your effort would probably target the 2.1 KOffice release.
