Created attachment 194702 [details] Screenchot of VD's thumbnails in overview, with two outlines colliding DESCRIPTION In the overview if we have multiple virtual desktops, the thumbnail of the current VD have an blue outline, after upgrading from KDE 6.6 to 6.7 in Fedora 44 (on two different laptops), this outline have become thicker, it looks weird compared to before were it was thin, also when hovering the thumbnail of the VD next to the current one, the two outlines collide STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Overview 2. Look at the outline around the thumbnail of current VD 3. Hover with mouse on a thumbnail next to thumbnail of current VD OBSERVED RESULT current VD thumbnail outline is too thick current VD thumbnail outline and hovered thumbnail outline next to current VD thumbnail collide EXPECTED RESULT current VD thumbnail outline should be thin current VD thumbnail outline and hovered thumbnail outline next to current VD thumbnail shoudn't collide or touch SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 44 KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0 Qt Version: 6.11.1 Kernel Version: 7.1.5-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 20 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700H Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.3 GiB usable) Graphics Processor 1: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics Graphics Processor 2: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Installed fedora 44 KDE edition on two laptops, both when upgrade from 6.6.X to 6.7.0 and later have gained the thicker outline
The thickness is intentional, for visibility. However you're right that the spacing is now too small to prevent collisions. That's worth fixing.

Hello, thanks for responding, i still think the thickness should be worked on, i am not a specialist so i will try to describe with my words, the rounded corners gives it a "grainy feel", also it looks like the side are less thick than the top and bottom, that the corners are thicker than the rest, and that the outline is "eating" the border of the thumbnail My laptop have 4k screen used with 200% scaling and another 4k monitor with 175%, i don't know if it is because of alliasing or what. Also want to point that the grid view still use the thin lines i personally prefer, maybe they could be thicken for consistency with the rest of overview. Thank you for your good work on KDE
I've submitted a merge request to resolve the issue in one of the two ways I can see doing it: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/9886
