Description CM 2026-07-26 00:25:57 UTC
DESCRIPTION
When I sleep my laptop and open it back up, then sleep again before logging in again, the next time I open it it causes a failed login attempt without me hitting any keys. When I've done this multiple times in a row it's triggered the 10 minute default lockout.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Sleep the computer
2. Wake it, then close it again without logging in
3. Wake it again

OBSERVED RESULT
A failed login attempt with no keys pressed.
Logs:
pam_unix(kde:auth): unexpected response from failed conversation function
  pam_unix(kde:auth): conversation failed
pam_unix(kde:auth): auth could not identify password for [user]

EXPECTED RESULT
No login attempt
