DESCRIPTION

The lock screen seems to interpret anything that wakes the computer from sleep mode or even simply pressing the sleep button as a login attempt. Since it's impossible to tye in a correct password before waking up the computer, it results in a failed attempt. After three failed attempts it locks the user for 10 minutes which I've only been able to resolve by logging into the root user via tty and using faillock reset.
Anything from pressing a key, touching the trackpad, oprning the lid, and even anything that causes a power notification like low battery or plugging/unplugging the power cord since I assume it temporarily leaves sleep mode to play those notification sounds.

Also, the bug is reffering to the login screen for an existing session, not the screen that appears before a desktop session has been started.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter the lock screen of an existing session
2. Enter sleep mode
3. Wake the computer from sleep mode(key presses, mpuse movememt, lid, power notifications)

OBSERVED RESULT

The lock screen interprets them as a login attempt, which will fail.

EXPECTED RESULT

I have noticed the same issues since updating to 6.7, I also noticed a difference in sleep behaviour, that when sleeping the machine now goes to the lock screen for a second or two before sleeping, which did not happen prior to 6.7.

I have recreated the issue and the journal log is here:
