Hi, I just have replaced my old 10 years ages PC by a new one. Both are running ubnder windows 11.
But the user account changed certainly due to Microsoft new rules.

On my previous one my pictures collections were stored in C:\Users\Gilles\Images
On my new one my pictures collections are stored in C:\Users\balbo\Pictures

As I am not familiar with IT, I don't know how to change either the "balbo" into "Gilles" or to tell digikam to point to a new storage place.

Many thanks in advance for your support,
Kind regards, Gilles

In the collection settings, there is an update button (circle icon) next to the collection path. Use this to assign the new base path to your existing collection.
