STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a text file.
2. Give it a big name.

OBSERVED RESULT
It disappears.

EXPECTED RESULT
It shouldn't disappear.

Weird, in the recording it takes a second for it to disappear, but on my screen it disappeared when I pressed Enter.

This issue doesn't happen if there's another file on the desktop.

Thanks for the bug report. This has an older report in bug 517149, so I'll merge this in with that one.
