Evidence that square tool isn't accurate.

SUMMARY
***
Tools are not accurate when trying to use to either select a specific area or use the "paste at cursor" function. Targeting for these two tools seems to be off.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select square select tool
2. drag over an area of varied height and length (not a perfect square)

1. Select Edit
2. Select "paste at cursor" with an image copied to clipboard

OBSERVED RESULT

Square select tool's result either appears to select an unintended section early or ends early before area is selected. May even select an area that is off to the left of desired area.

Paste at cursor tool makes the image appear to the right and below where the cursor is by several pixels, making it be a good distance from where the cursor actually is, rather than being next to or even beside where the cursor is on the page.

EXPECTED RESULT

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10

Hey,

I cannot reproduce with the Krita Version: 5.2.0-prealpha (git 5c98a72) Appimage with Qt 5.15.7

Is this still relevant?

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

I've checked this with 5.3.0 pre-alpha, and the image is pasted centered on the cursor whether activated through the menu or through a shortcut. Any existing selection is deselected.
