STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure you are using breeze-gtk theme and have glade installed
2. Download the attached standalonedemo.ui
3. Run glade-previewer -f standalonedemo.ui

OBSERVED RESULT
The unfocused items in the panel on the left have dark text colour on a dark background. The focused items don't look so hot regarding contrast either.

This was originally observed in the LibreOffice chart wizard by two people: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129995

You are right, just tested :) Let's use worksforme as we don't know the fix.
