there was a useful firefox addon "KDE wallet password integration" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/kde-wallet-password-integratio/ but now it's dev "Guillermo Molina" uses no more FF and abandoned the addon development he says "I don't use firefox any more, but I will try to make the plugin work again" see here http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=116886&forumpage=4 it would be a good thing kde keeps on going to develop this addon or as chromium integrates kwallet technology. It seems there is no more any source of this add-on. All links to the source are obsolete. There is nothing now at dev website about this add-on. Happily someone saves the source here. https://github.com/SicVolo/firefox-kde5-wallet It's the source + a fix according the add-on is compliant with qt < 5.7 because the original source is compliant with qt >= 5.7 It is not signed. the original source get 1.3 version number this fork gets 1.3.1
That extension uses Firefox' old XPI extension API? I don't think we have the neccessary APIs in Web Extensions to provide seamless integration.
(In reply to Kai Uwe Broulik from comment #1) > That extension uses Firefox' old XPI extension API? I don't think we have > the neccessary APIs in Web Extensions to provide seamless integration. Yes that why we can't find anymore this extension at mozilla addons site.
Then I don't see what I can do differently about this...
Sorry but i am not a dev.i only supply an existing software. I think it is easier to start from an existing software than from nothing. You or someone must built a fork. That's what sicvolo dev did.
