the brush  and color thing keeps coming up when I put the pen to the screen.. when I don't want it   while I'm trying to draw

Try to turn off 'flicks' and other such windows ink settings in the settings menu: https://docs.krita.org/Drawing_Tablets#Flicks_.28Wait_circle_showing_up_and_then_calling_the_popup_palette.29
