Plasma5 has gone terribly wrong. I really don't know where the problem is exactly. Plasma effects? The worst thing is that restarting doesn't fix the problems. The system is almost unusable.

How this happened; I opened a new konsole then it froze then everything else froze so I rebooted, and since then things are so.

Now the hot corners are not working.
Desktop grid not working (Probably the problem is with the keyboard shortcut, but whatever I try assigning to it it doesn't work)
Present all windows doesn't work (same as above).
Some applets aren't being displayed, like the applet for kazam.
Effects are not working (like switching between workspaces).

I'm on Kubuntu 17.10 It's a fresh install & everything is up to date. What else should I attach?

help :(

I think I may have found the cause. Try running kazam, and start a recording. Then try opening a new konsole. That konsole doesn't display correctly and consequently plasma crashes.

I'm using Nvidia's proprietary drivers. Card is GTX770.

If this is still reproducible, please add the backtrace for the crash. For more information, please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

It should be reproducible but I uninstalled the system. I replaced it with kde neon.
