Description abogical 2018-02-02 23:38:55 UTC
When the session is locked, brightness controls (via Fn keys) have no effect in the brightness. This could be bad when the screen is turned off via setting the brightness to a minimum then locking the screen, in that situation the greeter can't be seen.

Steps to reproduce:
- Login to KDE session
- Lock the session
- Brightness adjustment via Fn keys have no effect.

PS I could volunteer to submit a patch for this.
