OS/Compiler notes: 

Add LDAPS and SNMP IOSLAVE for browsing info in secure LDAP directories and on SNMP devices.  I am very impressed to find the LDAP IO-SLAVE and would be more interested to see these other capabilities as well.  The SNMP piece could interface to ucd-snmp.

The first part of this already solved: LDAP via SSL and TLS will be in KDE 3.3
