Description Ken 2016-12-30 07:12:14 UTC
Clicking the search option "From Here" and selecting "Filename" is not searching recursively at all. After checking with the Kubuntu IRC, it seems that I am not the only one with this problem.

> System Information:
- OS Version: Kubuntu 16.10
- OS Type: 64-bit
- KDE Plasma Version: 5.8.4
- KDE Frameworks Version: 5.28.0
- QT Version: 5.6.1
- Kernel Version: 4.8.0-32-generic
- Dolphin Version: 4:16.04.3-0ubuntu1

> Other Notes:
1. The (baloo_file_extractor), (akonadi_baloo_indexer), and (baloo_file) are running properly as processes.

2. The settings -> search -> file search settings are all enabled.

> How To Replicate The Bug?
Step 1: Create a new directory with some subdirectories inside and few empty files.

Step 2: Make sure all the files are indexed properly and "Baloo" indexer is running.

Step 3: Go to the parent directory and search for any file name that you know it exists in one of the inner directories.

Step 4: Make sure you select "Filename", "From Here", and "Any, Anytime, Any Rating" from the "Fewer Options" tab.

Step 5: On our side, the end result is always "0 files and 0 folders".

Works for me in Dolphin 16.12.3 in Kubuntu 17.04 and also in Dolphin 17.08 in KDE Neon. So at least this is not completely broken for everyone. If anyone is still experiencing the issue with these later versions of dolphins in more recent versions of their distros, please comment.
