Description Ronalds 2016-10-30 15:58:09 UTC
Using KDENLIVE 16.08.2, using effect - Position and zoom (Author: Charles Yates), zoom slider has been dissapeared. This issue has been discussed in https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=265&t=129434

Without it, using Position and zoom plugin, where You have to drag four corners of the video out the project monitor is impossible, You loose corner controls after first drag.

Confirm this. Without the zoom slider the position and zoom effect (one of the important effects) is unusable.

In the forum a kdenlive user wrote me a solution.
In the project monitor its possible to zoom with
SHIFT+CTRL+Mouse Wheel

But if you don't know this, its hard to work with zooms. Maybe a infofield fit this information hole.

I would rather like to see scrollbars getting implemented, as they are also used in other places, such as the title editor, and the timeline. This would give a consistent UI experience to novice users, while advanced users may use the shortcut using Shift+Ctrl+Wheel.

I agree with that. I have as a novice several hours searched until I found the solution here.
