openSUSE 42.1 Leap with latest plasma/kde frameworks from obs. My pc has two monitors attached to it. On the Energy Saving tab in System Settings->Power Management I've unchecked all options except for "Screen Energy Saving" which is set to switch off after 90 min. Despite this the monitors never switch off, even when I lock the screen. $ rpm -qa | egrep "kdm|plasma|framework|powerdevil"| sort frameworkintegration-plugin-5.18.0-89.1.x86_64 kdm-4.11.22-1.7.x86_64 kdm-branding-openSUSE-42.1-6.1.noarch patterns-openSUSE-kde_plasma-20150918-12.1.x86_64 plasma5-addons-5.5.4-79.1.x86_64 plasma5-addons-kimpanel-5.5.4-79.1.x86_64 plasma5-addons-lang-5.5.4-79.1.noarch plasma5-desktop-5.5.4-136.6.x86_64 plasma5-desktop-branding-openSUSE-13.3-112.1.x86_64 plasma5-desktop-lang-5.5.4-136.6.noarch plasma5-pa-5.5.4-28.1.x86_64 plasma5-pa-lang-5.5.4-28.1.noarch plasma5-pk-updates-0.2-6.2.x86_64 plasma5-pk-updates-debuginfo-0.2-6.2.x86_64 plasma5-session-5.5.4-57.1.noarch plasma5-workspace-5.5.4-166.1.x86_64 plasma5-workspace-branding-openSUSE-13.3-112.1.x86_64 plasma5-workspace-lang-5.5.4-166.1.noarch plasma5-workspace-libs-5.5.4-166.1.x86_64 plasma5-workspace-wallpapers-5.5.4-52.1.noarch plasma-framework-5.18.0-98.1.x86_64 plasma-framework-components-5.18.0-98.1.x86_64 plasma-framework-lang-5.18.0-98.1.noarch plasma-framework-private-5.18.0-98.1.x86_64 plasma-nm5-5.5.4-94.2.x86_64 plasma-nm5-lang-5.5.4-94.2.noarch plasma-nm5-openconnect-5.5.4-94.2.x86_64 plasma-nm5-openvpn-5.5.4-94.2.x86_64 plasma-nm5-pptp-5.5.4-94.2.x86_64 plasma-nm5-vpnc-5.5.4-94.2.x86_64 powerdevil5-5.5.4-70.1.x86_64 powerdevil5-lang-5.5.4-70.1.noarch python-kde4-plasma-4.14.3-2.11.x86_64 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5. SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
