Operation : Rip Audio CD to flac using Dolphin What happened : 1- Amarok on the background, try to find CD name on Internet but fails, got frozen after that. 2- Launch rip with Dolphin 3- on the notification tray, operation ruuning => copying sr0 4- After few minutes (2 or 3), amarok notifications about indexing tracks appears, but starts to be crazy (first 22, after 30 seconds, 1624), there is 20 tracks on the CD. Copy still working, but entire plasma-shell got freezed, as Dolphin. Still possible to interact with others applications. In HTOP, a konsole process using 100% of CPU is working (sorry, I didn’t take a screenshot ...). 5-After rip stop successfully, everything still frozen, I had to kill plasma-shell and the konsole process, Amarok still frozen. 6- On the next launch of konsole, I used it to launch "history", and after, exit with Ctrl-D => konsole segmentation fault (code 11) - PID 3659 No more problems with konsole after. I have tried to reproduce it, not successfully, but it appears that Amarok is indexing tacks (1 to infinity) in loop, and got frozen, until the copy done by Dolphin ends. But no freeze of plasma-shell and no konsole process. Send me a mail if you need more informations. Thank you ! Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Insert a audio CD 2.Launch Amarok, which will freeze 3.launch the rip to flac with dolphin Actual Results: Watch amarok notifications, number of indexed tracks increase in loop, until dolphin's copy ends. But plasma doesn't got frozen again.. Expected Results: Amarok success to index files and doesn't freeze Plasma-shell and dolphin should'nt freeze..
