Description Dan Leinir Turthra Jensen 2014-10-26 21:10:01 UTC
Currently the distance from a star to Sol is available, but for some uses the ability to find the distance between two arbitrary stars would come in very handy.

A suggestion for workflow would be, search star (highlighted on map), right-click and get option to find distance to another star, which spawn dialogue to search another star, which is then highlighted with a line between the two (as with angular distance), with the distance in parsecs shown in the same style.

Reproducible: Always

A note on how to calculate this, including the apparent brightness of one when located at the other: http://www.neoprogrammics.com/distance_between_two_stars/ (needs right ascension, declination, distance and visual magnitude)

Unfortunately, no resources to work on this now.
