opensuse 12.3 or rosa 2012.1 kde 4.10.3 we can create a "TEL;TYPE=FAX" but not a "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=WORK" or "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=HOME" then this is a pb when using android contact app and synchronizing the two app data because android contact does not know "TEL;TYPE=FAX" and know only "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=WORK" and "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=HOME" it would be a good thing that android contact knows "TEL;TYPE=FAX" but also it would be a good thing that kaddressbook knows "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=WORK" and "TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=HOME" thanks Reproducible: Always
it's a very annoying bug because when i synchronize my kaddressbook to android contact then the fax number is displayed but without label "fax" in a group "telephone" as a phone number" then in android contact i must manualy change the label to "fax professionnel" for each card !

You should be able to do this in KAddressbook by selecting "Other..." in the list of phone types, then checking multiple checkboxes in the new dialog. Is that what you need?

Created attachment 80776 [details] English version There seems to be a "bug" in the translation. See the attached screenshot of English version. The second column does not contain any "Phone" keyword and when I combine "Fax" with "Work", I get "Work Fax" in contact preview and I can see TEL;TYPE=FAX;TYPE=WORK:02500000 in Akonadi Console.

Translation is quite confusing due to contexte messages that mention phone explicitely. I fix french translation, but context message should be fixed as well.

hello it's not only a fax pb but a general pb "Home" is translated to "Téléphone personnel" instead of "Personnel" "Work" is translated to "Téléphone professionnel" instead of "Professionnel" we must understand that in the window "other" that "home" and "work" are adjectives and selecting them adds "TYPE=WORK" or "TYPE=HOME" to "TEL" "TEL;TYPE=FAX "TEL;TYPE=CELL" thanks
i continue my explanation. because of this bad translation of "home" and "work" in the window "other" frenchmen can understand there is no means to define a "home" or "work" phone, cell phone,fax
