Description karaluh 2013-06-20 10:41:21 UTC
As in summary. I don't know what exactly causes this bug, but it's highly reproducible if you just open the trash in dolphin and start to select some items.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for your report!

To narrow this down, could you get rid of as many files as possible in the trash while still reproducing the same issue? Once you have narrowed it down to a single file, please attach that file to this bug report. If that's not possible then you can mail it to me as well.

It happens for folders - you just have to hover the cursor over them. Also, it doesn't happen when the information panel is disabled.

The presume by "information panel" you mean tha one in Dolphin correct? If so then the problem is only isolated to opening the trash in Dolphin? What happens if you try to open it with Konqueror?

To further investigate this issue, KDE developers need the information requested in comment #3. If you can provide it, or need help with finding that information, please add a comment.

Sorry for not answering your questions, but the box I was experiencing the issue on is broken (Pentium 4). I have another KDE system, it is however much more powerful (i3) and the issue isn't that noticeable. Also I use it differently. However, I'll try to reproduce it anyways and get back to you.

OK, it is reproducible. Konqueror is free of this bug - obviously - because it doesn't have Dolphin's info panel.

Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.45 or greater?
