When I log in, the desktop sometimes does not load completely. Example, the menu is not displayed, it loads all the icons on the taskbar. If I sign with another user and then close and try to start with other, does not enter the desktop stays on the loading screen. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Sorry I'm using a translator. In the first line meant not loading all icons on the taskbar.
Looks like the session D-Bus does not run. KDE requires the session to launch the D-Bus.
I can confirm On my debian testing the latest versions available (4.10, 4.11) sometimes not load all the icon in the traybar. But all the applications are listed in the taskmanager (showed with CTRL+ESC). Seems a bug of kdeinit4 or kio_file because when it happens I see a lot of kio_file processes in running This happens especially when I load on startup more applications on traybar (akregator, kradio4, hplip, ktorrent) and remaining on hold to see if all the programs starts no helps
KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5. SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
