Quando si abilita la traduzione italiana nelle impostazioni di KDM (System Settings) salvando le modifiche, il file "/usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc" viene aggiornato con un valore errato nella riga "Language=" stabilendo il parametro "Language=it". Questa variabile deve contenere il valore "Language=it_IT" per funzionare. Grazie.

Translation from the Description:

When the Italian translation is enabled using KDM Settings (System Settings) and the new settings are saved, the file "/usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc" is updated with a wrong value in the line "Language="; the new value for the parameter is "Language=it". This parameter should be "Language=it_IT" to make the translation working. Thanks

The bug was reported against KDM from KDE SC 4.8, this version is not in the list.

KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5.

SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
