Description illumilore 2012-01-20 21:20:34 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

on the krfb side, in the settings I tell it to announce on the local network, then it shows up on the new connection list on krdc as username@servername.local:5900, but when I try to connect to it, I get a server not found error. If I manually type the ip address of the server in to krdc, only then will it connect to the server.

Reproducible: Always

It looks like Krfb announces the service with a wrong hostname. KRDC cannot do anything here...
