Version: 0.5.81 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux Many of the PDFs I deal with are somehow digitally signed. After opening them with Okular via the internet browser, I would like to save them on disk, but when I select "save as" the following error appears: File could not be saved in '/tmp/kde-user/okular12313.tmp'. Saving files with /Encrypt is not supported. It works, however, when I use the option "save copy as" instead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: (I need to find one such PDFs that I could upload here) Expected Results: -"Save copy as" is removed from the menu. (is it really needed??) -If the document is encrypted/signed "save as" will behave as "save copy as" -document is saved/copyed and no error displayed. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.6-2-desktop Compiler: gcc
Poppler issue that i just fixed http://cgit.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/commit/?h=poppler-0.18 Will be part of poppler 0.18.3
Steps to Reproduce: open https://www.cirrelt.ca/DocumentsTravail/CIRRELT-2009-20.pdf in okular try to "Save As" you get "Saving files with /Encrypt is not supported."
