In kate trunk+4.6 compiled from sources menu items for three plugins are not displayed.
Launching kate in konsole and selecting the three plugins I see these error messages:
kate(3544) KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file "plugins/katexmltools/ui.rc" for component "katexmltools"
kate(5432) KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file "plugins/katemailfiles/ui.rc" for component "katemailfilesplugin"
kate(5432) KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file "plugins/katesymbolviewer/ui.rc" for component "katesymbolviewer"

Steps to Reproduce:
Settings->Configure Kate->Plugins and select katexmltools, katemailfilesplugin and katesymbolviewer

Fixed in master and KDE/4.7
