I do not like that 

* in the flashcard and multiple choice practice mode, there is no option to play the sound,
* in the written practice and mixed letter practice mode, the sound is not played automatically. Ideally, I would like to set an option in the Configure Practice Menu to make all sound files play automatically when the corresponding text is revealed or when I answer correctly.

However, what I find to be an improvement is that it is possible to play the sound file even if I answer correctly. This was not possible in 0.9.3 (where the system went straight to the next question when the answer was evaluated as correct).

You will get this in kde 4.13.  I am sure that we will implement sound support for all practice modes where it makes sense.  I am not 100% sure about automatic playing of the sound (configurable) but I think that we will do that too.

The ability to play sound during practice in most modes went in yesterday.  So this will be out for 4.13.
