Description Roey Katz 2010-12-09 23:50:55 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

As of Beta 1 (4.5.80), and now Beta 2 (4.5.85), nothing on my desktop respects the settings I've configured in System Settings -> Keyboard, including:

- Make Capslock an additional control
- Layout switch character is 'both shifts pressed together'
- Keyboard repeat delay is 200ms

This just stopped working from the day I upgraded to the Kubuntu KDE 4.5.80 PPA packages.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set keyboard repeat delay to 200ms
2. Click 'Apply' or 'OK'
3. Test it out in a Konsole and see if that change took effect

Actual Results:
None of the keyboard settings I've configured in System Settings -> Keyboard Layout seem to take effect, even though they're quite clearly indicated in the System Settings app.

Expected Results:
See above.

BTW, the "Reproducible" field should read "ALL THE TIME". Thanks ;)
