Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0) 
OS:                Linux

When opening a video file the video is not displayed until the tab is change to another tab with a video in (ie playlist, television or playback). From then on it works like expected.
What shows instead is the background from when the video is opened with the path of the video at the top. (black if on playlist, television or playback, the start screen if on the start screen or the window background is opened directly from dolphin)
Sound plays fine from the beginning.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a video


Actual Results:  
The video is not displayed.

Expected Results:  
The video should be visible.

Happens when using the bespin theme and with oxygen

Same thing here, after upgrading to 4.5.0 from 4.4.3.
Using Mandriva GNU/Linux RPM's for 2010.1 version.
Kaffeine was not updated at any time, and ran fine in 4.4.3.
Running it from konsole doesn't seem to show anythin interesting...

It works as it should using the current svn version.
