Description agaida 2010-08-10 17:55:55 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

# Show the "Console Login" action in the greeter (if ServerTTY/ConsoleTTYs
# is configured).
# Default is true
AllowConsole=tru
# A program to run while the greeter is visible. It is supposed to preload
# as much as possible of the session that is going to be started (most
# probably).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Install KDE. Start, read logs

It's just a typo.

indeed - in kubuntu's packages.
Comment 2 Jonathan Riddell 2010-08-10 23:29:46 UTC
This isn't the default in our packages, we don't patch that value at all. Have you edited the file by hand at all? Have you used the KDM config tool in System Settings?
Comment 3 agaida 2010-08-10 23:58:07 UTC
No to all. Take Kubuntu 10.10, test it, watching the logs. And a "Tru" dont look nice in my log so i forward it to you.

Sorry for my bad english

Is this a problem after installing Kubuntu? Or after upgrading to KDE 4.5? What version of Kubuntu do you have?
Comment 5 agaida 2010-08-11 00:15:18 UTC
It seems to bee an problem in Kubuntu 10.10 as i wrote. I install it with the last 4.5.rc. Had several crashes, mostly with graphics and kernel problems. So i look frequently to the logs and work things out that look faulty to me. It was only the console setting, but a fault in my log.
