Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux I subscribe to scientific feeds like http://feeds.aps.org/rss/recent/prc.xml and some papers contain LaTeX expression. Problem exists on main view (with article summary) but not in article view (except for window title). I send screenshot to illustrate this point. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1/Subscribe to feed with LaTeX expression. 2/See article with LaTeX expression 3/Observe that some LaTex expression are not correctly displayed
Created attachment 49098 [details] Main view of akregator. You can see that LaTex expression ^{40} Ar are not interpreted as LaTex language.
Created attachment 49099 [details] Article view of akregator. You can see that in this view, LaTeX is correctly displayed into text. But not in the window title.
That's because the "^{40}" is normal text in the RDF. There is no special markup used to indicate that it is a LaTeX snippet, so Akregator doesn't know about it. That's how the website exports it to RDF, so we can't do anything about that.
Limitation of the feed, not a bug.
