Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux If I move or delete an email in kmail with the message list showing the last email, the message list window will instantly scroll to the first email. Also in Amarok, if I delete a song from the local music list, the window will scroll to the top. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: KMail: Open a folder and in the message list scroll to the bottom. Delete an email. Window will now be showing the emails at the top. Not sure where to file this bug as it doesn't seem to be restricted to KMail. At the moment I've only seen it in one other app and that is Amarok.
Using KDE 4.5 RC1
I didn't put this against KMail as it also affected Amarok's local music menu.
I can't reproduce that here with KMail 2, for me deleting the last message selects the message before that. I use sorting by date. For Amarok, please file a separate bug report.
I'm using KDE 4.5 RC1 and KMail 1.13.5 and every time I move an email, the window moves to the top of the list.
I've also just noticed that it only does it if the list is sorted by date.
Duplicate of 242147 ? Has anyone tried 4.4.92 already?
Cannot reproduce in kmail 1.13.5

Still a bug got me in 4.4.92 and 1.13.5. Is it possible that this not a kmail, but a qt or KDE-gui bug?
This bug exists for me in Kontact 4.4.5 (KMail 1.13.5) My messages are sorted: - By date (most recent in subtree) - Least recent on top This bug is not always reproducible. I cannot determine through ordinary usage what conditions will cause this to happen.
Had an update the other day and I don't recall seeing this bug since then. Will have to check a few things to make sure, but it might be fixed.
