Description Xaver Wurzenberger 2010-01-23 20:18:50 UTC
Version: 4.3.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Chakra KDE)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-ARCH

Hi, in a wishlist report https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213526 I was told I should alter konqueror settings in order to change akregator's browsing behaviour. I did switch of java&javascript there, yet akregator doesn't behave accordingly (while konqueror does). I can provide screenshots if you wish.
I'd like to mention that in the same wishlist report, someone suggested setting a variable in ~/.kde/share/config/kcmnspluginrc. I did so but with no effect either.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
