Description Axel Braun 2009-11-18 14:06:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

The new icons really look stylish. But have you tried to estimate the network strength on a 1680x1050 screen resoultion on a Laptop for the WLAN icon? the faded number in the icon is unreadable, so you have to click on it to see what maybe the problem (field strength) is.

My proposal is to return to the old icon with the four bars, indicating the field strength. You can easily see the field strength.

Stylish icons are nice, but if they dont support the function properly, it is not an improvement.

Thanks.

...I think with KDE 4.5 this problem is solved
