Version: kaffeine-1.0-0.pre2 (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs The KDE 3 version of Kaffeine would take the tuner from the live display when a preset recording timer came due. The KDE 4 version does not. The old behavior was more sensible. For example, I just tuned to channel 7 and then set the recording screen to start recording channel 2 immediately. Nothing happened (except the creation of a zero length file) until I started channel surfing. As I surfed around other channels, they were displayed. Then when I got to channel 2 the recording started, and I was unable to display other channels until I canceled the recording. (That last part was sensible behavior.)
fixed in current svn - recordings now take precedence over live display
