Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages One thing is killing me in KDE4 over the months. New versions come, but the calendar plasmoid is still as ugly as it was. For simple users calendar is very important - but it looks like no designer had worked on it. Look at the attachment. My suggestions: 1. Look at other calendar examples (attachment) 2. Get rid of gradients in the days - bad readability 3. Don't use bold font in the days 4. Month name should also resize when calendar is resized. Otherwise days a big but month name is small. See attachment 5. Calendar should have an option - whether to show week numbers or not. 6. Use 2-symbol names of week days (optional)
