Version:           0.9.3.5.10 (using KDE 3.5.10)
Compiler:          Ubuntu synaptic install 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Created 1 check and 3 savings accounts. Imported QIF to all - everything good so far. Saved/ exited/ started again. 
Created 3 investement accounts and several investments (add shares). saved/ exited/ started again - all investment accounts and investments gone !!!!!
Tried a couple of time but same result.

Can you send us an anonymized version of your data file? See http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net/online-manual/details.formats.anonymous.html for details.

Also: does it help to run 'Tools/Consistency check' inside KMyMoney?

I sent the requested file same day you requested it - using the anonymization routine, pls, check again.

BTW, where did you get those Ubuntu packages from? Did they have been updated in the meantime?

Installed using Synaptic - standard Ubuntu packages only.

Did you try to upgrade to a version > 0.9? I am still unable to duplicate the problem with CVS HEAD here.
