Looks like this happens only when my old .kde/share/apps/akregator/ folder is used, when I delete the folder and manually add the feeds the crash no longer happens.

So this may be an similar incident.

Akregator faithfully departed with a SIGSEGV - indicated as a fatal error.

It happend during reading an article of a "heise.de"-feed after reading a couple other form the same feeder and other news publishers.

The Feedreader is running on an Fedora 11/x86_64 AMD DualCore 6000+ with contemporary updates and bugfixes.
