Version:           1.4.50 (using 4.2.64 (KDE 4.2.64 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090218)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-tuxonice

hi,

i prefer to sort the articles not alphabetically but rather after date - this setting isn't remembered which is quite annoying...

This works for me and always has. If I click one of the article list view columns, it sorts on that column. If I quit Akregator and start it again, it's still sorted on that column. Are you sure it doesn't work for you?

i was definitely not drunken or so, but happy that it seems all right now.
