Description Jonathan Thomas 2008-09-11 02:08:49 UTC
Version: 3.0 Beta 2 (Battleship) (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-5-generic

This affects Adept Installer.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open Adept Installer
- Search for "worm"
- Click on the wormux package
- Search for "alien arena"

Alien arena's package description will now be that of wormux.

It seems that if the first result of a new search is in the same section and the currently-shown package, the first result will steal the description of the old package.

Fixed in development branch. Fix has been uploaded to Kubuntu Intrepid, it should appear soon-ish. It should also be uploaded to Debian hopefully soon, at the latest next week.

Thanks to Jonathan Thomas for confirming the fix.
