Most of the times I prefer to see unread articles only. But every time I open a new feed the status changes again to "all articles" which makes akregator quite slow and it takes a while until it shows the requested feed (especially when it's a major news site and you have >1000 messages in a short period of time). However, I just want it to load the new aka unread articles.

So my wish is to be able to make the status "unread articles" the default and make working with akregator a lot faster.

Btw in Mozilla Thunderbird2 this feature is already implemented.

Fixed in KDE 4.3 (I'm not sure about 4.2).
