Comment 1 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-10-29 18:03:32 UTC
i.e. a protocol autodetection would be required (vnc/rdp)
Comment 2 Urs Wolfer 2007-10-29 19:38:49 UTC
Protocol autodetections is quite complicated to implement. Do you think it would help if VNC is assumed as default protocol if none is defined?
Comment 3 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-10-29 20:42:22 UTC
Sure, that would be fully sufficient for my own purposes.
Comment 4 Urs Wolfer 2007-10-29 21:53:05 UTC
SVN commit 730854 by uwolfer:

Try to recover unusable URLs (e.g. if the protocol is missing). Default protocol is VNC if none is set (this was also the default in KDE 3 times...).

Comment 5 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-10-29 22:22:40 UTC
Krdc could also complete the protocol where the rest of the URL is a bookmark or can be found in the history.
