Version: svn 2006-06-21 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux When browsing my Nokia N70 with konqueror, I see among other things "OBEX File Transfer" and "Nokia OBEX PC Suite Services". Opening the former always brings up an empty dir listing, no files in the phone are shown. Opening the latter doesn't work, because kdebluetooth doesn't apparently know how to handle it. However, if I take the URL I get by opening "OBEX File Transfer" and replace the trailing :10 (rfcomm channel 10) with :12 (rfcomm channel 12, the one from the "Nokia OBEX PC Suite Services" entry), I can browse the phone's dirs and upload and download stuff. Would it be possible to make whatever handles "OBEX File Transfer" to also handle "Nokia OBEX PC Suite Services" out of the box?

Created attachment 20205 [details] Recognize Nokia PC suite OBEX transfer The attached patch implements what I'm looking for.
The patch no longer applies to b8 but the problem remains, and I still can get working OBEX transfers if I take the OBEX FTP URL kdebluetooth lists in the SDP view and append :12 to that so that it becomes obex://[xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx]:12/ Without the :12, I get an empty view and can't transfer files.
Bluetooth support has been replaced by "BlueDevil" and the old code is no longer maintained. If you still have an issue with Bluetooth support in a recent KDE version, such as KDE 4.9.5 or 4.10, please report a new bug. Also, if this is a feature request that has not yet been implemented in BlueDevil, please add a comment.
