Hi

It would be nice if kubuntu provided a GUI tool to upgrade between kubuntu releases, similar to ubuntu's one, see:
http://daniel.holba.ch/blog/?p=14

This tool would help newbies upgrade from current release to the next stable one once it's released.

There is an adept-unrelated tool written in python around to do that. I'd say that it might be now better to use something based on adept 3, but I am not going to have time to do that anytime soon.

Adept has been in the unmaintained state for a few years.  Use muon[1] as replacement .
