Sentry Crash Report:

Description Robin Rosenberg 2005-02-21 08:27:14 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 3.3.2, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Mandrakelinux 10.2 3.4.3-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1mdk

After a kwin crash (and subsequent X kill) karm says its file is in use and won't allow write access.

stracing karm revealed a leftover lock file. After deleting that file karm allowed write access again.

Shouldn't karm check the validity of the lock file?
