Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)

My request is simmilar to bug #54617 - I simply lack "View history" menu item somewhere in chat window. Theoretically, according to the #54617 the issue shall resolved as FIXED, but in my version of kopete it does not appear to work - I don't see anything like "View history" in "Chat>Contacts" menu

Tools->Back, Forward etc shows a section of the history at a time in the chat 
window.

Doesn't that show the history of the contact instead of the history of the metacontact ?

IMO, there should be a way to acess the metacontact menu from the chatwindow.

This has been changed in KDE 3.4 because everybody requested it.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
